You will travel by road over the famous and scenic Hai Van Pass in a private air conditioned vehicle with your English speaking guide. Hai Van pass, is one of the highest in Vietnam and is renowned for its scenic beauty. Hue is the home of several wonderfully interesting world heritage listed sites and the area has a lot to offer visitors. Hue is located near the centre of the country, approximately half way between HCMC and Hanoi and only 100kms North of Da Nang. Hue is the ancient capital of Vietnam and although many historical sites were damaged in the recent war with America it is still a fascinating place to visit and should not be missed. There any many interesting and ancient attractions to be found in and around Hue with a large number of them having been constructed in the 17th and 19th centuries. Among these is the Thien Mu Pagoda which is considered the symbol of Hue and was built in the early 1600s.

Itinerary :
- 07:00 – 07:30 am: Our guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel/stay in Hoi An. If you are in Da Nang, we will pick you up between 8.00 am and 8.30 am. Please be ready in your hotel lobby at that time.
- 09:00 am: Pass over the stunning Hai Van Pass, named by Top Gears Jeremy Clarkson as “one of the best coastal roads in the world”. Stop at the Hai Van Quan, the highest point between Danang and Hue for a photo opportunity. Additionally, experience the full view of the breathtaking Lang Co Bay as you descend down toward Hue.
- 11:30 am: Arrive in Hue city and begin with a visit to the Khai Dinh Tomb, constructed for the emperor in 1920 and built on the principle of Feng Shui. Although smaller than other tombs, it was the most elaborately designed of its era
- 12:30 pm: Take a break and enjoy a delicious local lunch, savoring a variety of Hue local specialties!
- 13:30 pm: Continue onto The Citadel, the last royal city in Vietnam that contains the imperial city and Hue’s main attraction. Constructed between 1805-1832, it is surrounded by 2 square kilometer walls with a moat and was home to the last ruling emperor of the Nguyen Dynasty
- 14:30 pm: Visit the Thien Mu Pagoda, a Buddhist monastery whose origins date back to 1601. Located along the bank of the stunning Perfume River, it is the unofficial symbol of Hue City and is subject to many local folk rhymes.
- 16:00 pm: Finish a day tour in Hue, and start to come back to your hotel.
- 18:00 pm: Arrive in Danang and at 19:00 reach Hoi An where you will be dropped back to your hotel and your tour will finish.
